It started with a roar.

In 1999, my dad brought me to Sepang to watch Malaysia host its first-ever Formula 1 Grand Prix. I was just a kid in the grandstands, but I still remember it vividly — the scream of the engines, the speed, the precision of it all. By the time we left the track that day, I'd already made up my mind about what I wanted to do with my life.

I got into karting soon after, and the bug took hold fast. In 2003, I won my first championship in the Yamaha category — the first of many trophies that would shape the road ahead. That caught the attention of Petronas, who selected me as one of the drivers for their Formula Xperience program, and that opened the door to single-seaters. I stepped up to Formula BMW in 2007, and a year later I claimed my first win at Sentul.

From there, I took the long road. I moved into GT racing and found my rhythm in endurance competition, winning the Super Taikyu Endurance Series in 2013 and the China Endurance Championship in 2018. These days, I'm still racing at the highest level I can — competing in China GT and the 24H Series in Europe, taking on some of the most demanding circuits and toughest fields the sport has to offer.

But racing has never been just about my own seat. In 2017, I co-founded Legion of Racers, a platform built to grow motorsport in Asia and develop the next generation of drivers. In 2025, I launched LOR Racing, my own karting team — a return to where it all began for me, to the grassroots level where champions are first made. Alongside all of this, I've spent more than seven years as an instructor at the AMG Driving Academy, and I've had the privilege of working with several other leading automotive brands along the way.

More than two decades later, that same fire still drives me — both on track, and in everything I'm building off it.
